Noa Oranim
Computational and Phylogenomic Researcher
Hi, I'm Noa Oranim, a senior at Oakwood Secondary School with a passion for exploring the intersection of evolutionary biology and computational research. I've had the privilege of working in a UCLA medical lab and co-authoring several research papers, presenting my findings at international conferences, and speak at ISEMPH in both 2023 and 2024. Beyond science, I love sharing my insights through motivational talks at companies like Motorola and Ernst & Young, which have helped raise over $15,000 for The Pad Project. I also run a reptile rescue, to heal and find new homes for neglected reptiles. I was honored to be nominated for President Biden’s "Girls Leading Change" award.
I’m always eager to learn and make a difference!
